Only Lagos, Nigeria, Nairobi, Kenya, Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town made it onto the list in Africa.
Cape Town offers the best quality of life in Africa
Out of 233 cities, Cape Town came in at 122. Cape Town eventually came out on top in Africa with a 149.59 quality of life index. Durban follows with 144.36 (and comes in with the lowest traffic commute time).

In Africa, Lagos, Nigeria ranks the lowest when it comes to quality of life. Lagos scored 52.64 with factors such as pollution, traffic and property price to income ratio being very high.
Quality of life: The top three
The top three places on the index includes Canberra, Australia, followed by Raleigh, in the United States and Adelaide in Australia.
Adelaide’s quality of life index came in at 206.93 for example.
