If you look at our history of 2000 years, Maldivians have always been very hospitable, and we continue to love guests. The awards which Sun Siyam have received show all our future visitors, in the GCC and beyond, our commitment to service excellence.
Also, this year, the Maldives is a host country of the ITB Berlin Convention, the world’s largest tourism convention. It is a very good thing for us to do and we should continue our destination marketing. People will see that the Maldives is one of the most peaceful countries that you can find. You can visit an island and stay there undisturbed.
That peace and harmony, which is being well preserved by our current government, is the most important thing to keep in this country, especially politically.
