What does a tiny African island nation have to say to global leaders?
Answer in the upcoming edition on Mauritius to be distributed in the World Economic Forum in Davos-Klosters.
Ever since it declared independence from Great Britain 50 years ago, Mauritius has never ceased to defy expectations and rapidly metamorphosed from a poor sugar-cane isle into Africa’s most competitive economy.
Now on its way to becoming a high-income country, Mauritius is asserting its position as a full-fledged financial hub and sophisticated digital economy with a role to play in the global economy.
On the occasion of the country’s 50th anniversary, The Business Report is producing a special issue on Mauritius, which will provide a platform for the nation’s movers and shakers to debate and analyse how this small nation can effectively contribute to global issues such as Africa’s growth, international finance and trade or global warming.
This upcoming edition will be distributed in the World Economic Forum in Davos-Klosters in January 22, 2019 and simultaneously in Mauritius.
